FAQ’s

Who is this retreat for?

Our retreats are designed for open-minded travellers who want to step away from the rush of everyday life and experience Italy in a slower, more meaningful way. If you’re curious about food, culture, community, or simply seeking time to rest and reconnect with yourself, this retreat is for you.
Whether you’re joining with a partner, a friend, a family member, or travelling solo, you’ll be welcomed into an inclusive group that celebrates connection and shared experiences. Age is never a barrier, our retreats often bring together women from their twenties through to their sixties and beyond, It’s less about where you are in life, and more about who you are: open to discovery.

How many people per retreat?

We believe in keeping our retreats small and intimate. Each journey is limited to 7 guests only. This allows us to design unique, personal experiences that aren’t possible with larger groups, from long conversations with local artisans, to family-style meals with winemakers, to accessing hidden corners of the countryside most visitors never see.
The small group size also means you’ll never feel like just another guest in a crowd. Instead, you’ll become part of a warm, close-knit group where every detail is thoughtfully considered, and where space is made for both togetherness and quiet reflection.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely! Many of our guests join as solo travelers, and our small group size makes it easy to feel at home right away. Whether you’re sharing a twin room with a friend you bring along, or booking a private room just for you, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, supportive community from the moment you arrive.

What experience can I expect from a Seasons to Gather retreat?

Expect a balance of discovery and rest. Our days weave together hands-on experiences, time with locals, shared meals, and space for quiet reflection. You’ll join cooking workshops, wine tastings, and guided day trips, while also enjoying long lunches, countryside walks, and afternoons by the pool. It’s a mix of immersive cultural experiences and soul-nourishing downtime in untouched regions of Italy.

What is included in the retreat?

Six nights in a beautifully restored farmhouse, all meals and wines, hands-on activities and workshops, guided day trips, airport transfers, and plenty of time to relax by the pool or wander the countryside. The itinerary details everything included, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
What will the days be like?
No two days are the same, but the rhythm is intentionally slow. Mornings begin with a relaxed breakfast and a short transfer to a nearby town or vineyard. Afternoons often include hands-on workshops, a long lunch, or time to rest by the pool. Evenings are spent gathering around the table for multi-course Italian feasts paired with wine. Every day balances activity with leisure so you’ll never feel rushed.

Food and Wine

What if I have a dietary requirement?

We want everyone to feel well-nourished and cared for during the retreat. Most dietary requirements and intolerances can be accommodated in Italy, especially vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free diets. Italy is particularly mindful of gluten intolerance and celiac disease, with many traditional dishes and products that can be adapted. That said, because Italian cuisine leans heavily on dairy and eggs, we’re not able to cater to a fully vegan diet.
If you have any dietary needs, please let me know in advance at info@seasonstogather.com so I can make sure we’re well-prepared. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can work with our chefs and local hosts to create a culinary experience that feels both safe and delightful for you.
